Signed the day before losing to Vanderbilt...just incredible. Going to end up 6-6 again like every other year outside of one. Wish I could make that kind of money for being violently average.

Getting that fan base excited about college football for over half of the season is actually quite the achievement.

They always have been and always will be a basketball school. Getting them to care about football even for a little while is no small feat.

Cal will be asking for a raise!

Getting 8.4 million for breaking even is stupid but is exceeded by Meechegan State.

Being reported by 247 Deion Sanders is in talks with both USF and Colorado for their vacant HC job.

Circus coming to town.

I believe Deion has done a good job of having real coaches on his staff so he can be the chief recruiter.

Colorado may be looking for a boost to get the Big XII's attention. USF just needs any kind of help it can get. They already missed the Big XII bus and need to be in position in case more expansion occurs.

Wonder if Deion's big top recruit would transfer with him? I bet so.

Wherever he goes he'd bring his son who will be hyped as a heisman candidate QB from game 1.

I am not too familiar with Colorado’s situation, but why would Deon take USF?

USF would be a big challenge.

I would think he could get a better opportunity somewhere else that has greater odds of being successful.

It's warmer and you can recruit Florida heavily.

man, if only uc had their best team ever this year. the landscape is pretty unremarkable when the aac is fielding three teams in the football top 25

Very low expectations.

Deion is primarily a southern guy. Florida, Atlanta, Dallas. Even though he had short stints in San Fran, Baltimore, and Washington, IMO he won't coach anywhere where it gets cold.

Maybe the Reds should hire him.

UCF stays in at 22. UC at 24. Have to win Friday.

Committee just ignoring the ucf v navy game competely is something I didn't see coming.

I think they want to set it up to “reward” UCF for beating both UC and Tulane.

Yeah that was to guarantee UCF a spot in the CG. Texas and Louisville in the rankings is a farce

RE: 2022 College Football Season Thread - doss2 - 11-22-2022 07:30 PM

Well we have to win since the committee ignored loses by UCF to Navy and ECU. We beat both.
