News from Gill so far: Working to finalize an agreement with a 6th bowl tie-in.

ESPN contract has been expanded/extended to 2030-31. More linear TV football and basketball games. More money (details will be announced soon), more softball on ESPN+.
In press release, ESPN will now show more than 6000 SB games on ESPN+.

Gill was in the room during the 12 team playoff discussion in June. Feels confident Sun Belt will be "included" in the new playoff structure. Says SB will not be "left out".

This does not scare me b/c I have no doubts that Gill only brings in schools that no brainer improve the SBC, i.e. ECU etc.

I’m late to watching the stream but it is such a good feeling to just click on the ESPN app and have great production rather than searching on Facebook or some outside link for coverage.

Ukwu says every game will be like FCS playoffs, and they are focusing on small details and execution. No gimme games.
Seems like we might be stronger in some areas this year due to guys that were injured coming back.

Specifically the monetary increase is to help with production increases. All schools will have production increases that will need to be made to cover the increased load. I know your in house production is stronger than most, but it will undoubtedly need some upgrades to be able to broadcast all Olympic sports as well to ESPN Standards.
