This is a big visit weekend for CMU football, including DE Brent Hoppe (6-4, 235) of Beloit (Wisc.) Turner High School and DT Brady Neu (6-4, 280) of Indianapolis Roncalli High School.
The class of 2023 currently has 12 known commitments, but that number should increase after this weekend.

Among the other recruits on campus this weekend for an official visit is wide receiver/athlete Julian Allen (6-1, 195) of Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic High School.
A consensus 3-star recruit in the 2023 class, Allen reports 15 scholarship offers, including Temple, USF, Toledo, Miami, FAU, Coastal Carolina, Western Kentucky and MTSU, where two of his Central Catholic teammates are committed.
