Wide receiver Javorian Wimberley (6-0, 185) of Wellington (Fla.) Palm Beach Central High School announced his commitment to Central Michigan this afternoon, via Twitter.
A consensus 3-star recruit in the 2023 class, Wimberley chose the Chippewas over reported offers from Illinois, South Florida, Temple, Akron, Bowling Green, Coastal Carolina, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State and Arkansas State. He also reported recruiting interest from Florida.
Wimberley took an official visit to CMU last weekend, June 3-5.
