Defensive back Jarvarious Sims (6-1, 185) of Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Collegiate Academy announced his commitment to Central Michigan this evening, via Twitter.
Sims, who prepped at Lithonia (Ga.) Martin Luther King High School, was teammates at Myrtle Beach Collegiate Academy with class of 2022 CMU recruit, DE Oumar Conde.
Sims, who was offered a scholarship by the Chippewas on Wednesday, chose CMU over reported offers from Syracuse and Samford.
