To clarify the OP -
Abilene Christian won the men’s championship while New Mexico State hoisted the women’s crown. ACU was a No. 2 seed as was NMSU.
ACU avenged a 5-2 loss earlier in year and it’s only non conference wins vs D1 programs this year were Texas Arlington and A&M-Corpus Christi. Likely will head to a Baylor, Texas or TCU in regionals
