Hockey East Awards - geewizNU - 03-16-2022 01:20 AM Two of the three major Hockey East postseason awards have been taken home by members of the Northeastern men's ice hockey team, Goaltender Devon Levi was named Rookie of the Year, and Head Coach Jerry Keefe was named the winner of the Bob Kullen Award for the league's best coach. Levi's overall numbers are now up to a .954 save% (1st in NCAA), 1.47 goals-against (3rd in NCAA) and 10 shutouts (2nd in NCAA), which includes his 46 save effort against BC in the Hockey East quarterfinals. Levi was also the runner-up for Player of the Year; he's also a member of the Hockey East All-Star First Team, the All-Rookie team, and claimed the Goaltender of the Year award and PNC Bank Three Stars Award. Keefe is only the second coach in Hockey East history to win Coach of the Year in his debut season. The first was UNH's Dick Umile in 1990-91
