...I've watched some of his stuff (for the life of me not sure WHY, but...) - he's been on the bandwagon since the bowl win - not sure where he was before that, tho... he also has a running narrative that West Virginia is headed to the ACC with Notre Dame - not that that means anything to us, but... sounds sorta like a pipe dream. He WAS propping UAB in bball, tho, after the fighting Huggies beat us...

He was more or less ragging BYU and calling them overrated after they loss to as he said "Bama Lite" and "Bryant Jr College". He's a tool looking for views on his YouTube channel.

Well, I guess that there's a better chance that Notre Dame joins the ACC than that UAB gets an SEC invite, but that's as good as it gets. If the 12 team playoff goes in, ND will be included probably four out of five years. No, they won't get to be a home team in the first round, but to be independent with your own football contract with a TV network and the ability to schedule any team you want in any recruiting area that you want to work is worth that trade off.
The only way they seriously look at joining a conference is if it's an eight team playoff with five coming from the P5. The only real competition they'd have in the ACC is Clemson, and they have yet to prove that they won't return to their average once Dabo moves on.

It will end up being a 12-team playoff. Espn doesn’t have to pay more at 8.
