No, those are the rapid antigen tests.
We have bought a hell of a lot more than a half billion PCR tests. Those are the drive through and wait a couple days tests.

The CDC is proving over and over again to be a giant of misinformation, either purposely or through professional negligence.
Either way, the CDC has shown they shouldn't be trusted... at all.

Not necessary useless, but they can fudge how many cycles they run on them. If someone has any covid 19 in them even if they were never going to be symptomatic or contagious if they keep running the sample eventually the virus will multiply to detection levels.
If only there was an organization meant to combat the spread of disease in our country that could have mandated the procedures the labs had to use.

Well. The guy that invented the PCR test said all along they are only meant to be used when the patient presents with disease to determine what is causing the disease. If you test everyone for MRSA in their nose, damn near everyone will test positive.
