***Week 12: UNT @ FIU*** - Side.Show.Joe - 11-20-2021 08:47 PM

Halftime

UNT 35
FIU 0

UNT isn't as good as the score makes it look. There are quite a few C-USA programs in need of new coaches.

Also, the FIU production on this game is pure trash. It's like trying to watch a junior high game on access cable. The video sucks (looks gray most of the time). The ref's audio is missing. And, they can't update the downs on the screen. Just terrible.

Unt has certainly improved since the start of the year.

Guess it all turned around at Rice?

Actually yes. There was some mindset change during or just before that game that changed for the Mean Green. They are going to go into that game with UTSA next week with something to play for and they are going to believe they can win. Maybe that will translate to something cool on the field.

Nice job UNT. I doubt many UNT fans may want to hear it but if you all can win at home next week Littrell may deserve a little more time.

He has 2 years left after this. 2022 will be the make-or-break. He will either earn an extension next year or won't finish out in 2023.

On offense, only Torrey will graduate. All others return. On defense, about 8 or 9 starters will be back. He has a very young team this year.

No. UNT has not really improved. We just played the softest part of our schedule. UTSA will probably skull drag us at home next Saturday.

I should negative rep you for posting this garbage. Littrell had better be fired at the end of this season, or Wren and Smat will have another 2016 like civil war on their hands. 05-mafia

This is not accurate, as his contract expires after the 2022 season.

The original did, it has been extended through 1/31/24, which makes the 2023 season the final one as it stands now

UNT fans will be pissed if we don't fire Littrell after a 6-6 season and possible bowl win? Dude get a grip. If we win Saturday he'll be back.

2022 will be different though. If we somehow pull off the miracle Saturday, Seth will have to win at least 8 games next year to keep his job. And considering everyone is coming back next year and a much easier schedule, 8 wins is totally possible.
