Down 21-7 at MTSU at the half.
Doubled them up in time of possession, but gave up 7 sacks and 2 scoop and scores. We are the worst team in all of college football at any level.
MT has 93 yards and 21 points.

It's rough out there. I don't understand what we need to do with our o line. It's been a problem for at least 8 out of the past 10 years, and this year it's THE biggest problem we have.

Most pathetic display of an Oline Ive ever witnessed at any level. Then, when our 5th string walk-on practice squad QB has time to throw, he puts it on the money for them to drop TD passes or major gains. Garbage! Of course, thats after a false start by a big, dumb, fat lineman.

Time to write off this season and just play next year's team for experience. Sacrifice for the greater good. Not like the seniors have earned the right to be on the field, anyway.

Was at the game today. We are miserable to watch. Not sure you guys are aware of how awful it is. Both Texas State and Arkansas State would beat us handily right now. Got a long way to go.

If you need a good look at where we are now, look no further than today's game against MT...5 turnovers and a blocked punt...the MT defense and special teams had more points scored than the USM and MT offenses. It's been that comical of a year for Southern Miss football on offense.

We have a lot of non-FBS players (thanks to Jay Hopson’s **** recruiting) and a coaching staff that needs to lose the training wheels in a hurry. This is a wash year, but Hall’s ability to turn it is becoming concerning.

Hall said last week the final five weeks would essentially be another spring practice with many players needing to prove whether they would remain in the program next year. He has a solid recruiting class lined up and will hit the portal to shore up depth. Simply put, we are reaping what Hopson sowed in his last two years of just mailing the job in. He was Elloss Johnson in slow motion. His recruiting and culture were not on the FBS level. Todd Monken went 4-20 in his first two years cleaning up a huge mess, so we have to be patient with Will Hall, because he has a huge mess on his hands.
