The Stadium production is actually very good. Plus it's free unlike ESPN+.
Last week the UTEP vs Southern Miss. game on ESPN3 was constantly going from a fuzzy screen to HD. Meanwhile the UTSA vs WKU game had no problems all night.
This weekend I'll be watching a subpar ESPN+ production from UTEP, while the stadium games will be streamed with no problems.

Yes Stadium is much better production. Free Channel with antenna. Anyone can download the stadium app right on their phone or SmartTv. If someone can download and watch ESPN+ or ESPN3 they can do same with Stadium.

I know you're kidding. However, UTEP's ESPN+ productions has been horrible in football for a while. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised this weekend, but I doubt it.

If it makes you feel better Rice's production is probably worse. Anytime I see Rice and UTEP on ESPN+; I know to keep the radio call on standby.

Well dang, no pressure. Challenge accepted.
Since I'm in first I feel the need to explain my picks now.
Marshall 3-3 @ North Texas - A week ago this was a no drama pick of Marshall, but then they nearly lost to ODU and UNT played decent at a SEC school. My gut still says Marshall here.
Western KY @ Old Dominion 1-5 - We just mentioned ODU giving Marshall a game and WKU's only win is against a FCS team. That ends this wee, as WKU drops 50 on ODU in the beginning of their real season.
UAB @ Southern Miss - Southern Miss just . . . UAB is not . . . Nah, UAB trounces my Golden Eagles and this is the game I chose to drive seven hours for?
Rice @ UTSA - I've got UTSA here, as I think they're the real thing. However, a let down after the shootout with WKU is a definite possibility and Rice could take advantage of that.
Louisiana Tech @ UTEP - This one could go either way for two reasons. UTEP as a team has learned to win again and LaTech is schizo. I think LaTech has more talent though and wins this one on the road.

I don't disagree. I think our announcers are as unbiased as it gets in the conference.
The announcers are the least of the worries. It's the camera angles, the audio, the video definition, the graphics/score stats, etc.
With Stadium you don't have to worry about that, plus they have good announcers too. You're not alone though, many CUSA schools are severely lacking in their ESPN productions, Rice, FIU, etc.
Tech is not perfect either, but compared to other CUSA schools we do a pretty good job.

Completely agree. I've seen a lot of bad production on ESPN+. Might as well have someone do a Facebook live from the stands.
