It’s pathetic because it says “we don’t and haven’t known what we are doing. We had a chance to go regional before and we didn’t. I offer our conference to you. Take from us what you want and give us, those that you don’t want.”

Countless discussions have been had on the countless numbers of realignment threads on this very page about the possibility of taking teams from this conference and one or two other conferences and realigning them in a regional fashion. So why is it so pathetic for C-USA's leadership to try and open up discussion on the same thing?

Theyve already shown they can’t put together the best selection of schools based on markets, why would anybody trust them with regional realignment.
It’d be UAB and USM getting the shaft again, because we all know damn well we’d be shoved with the Texas schools who we have no chemistry with and fans don’t travel to or from any of those schools to one another.

Because CUSA is in the weakest negotiating position of the 3 leagues and poo pooed doing this idea with the Sun Belt for years when they were strong enough to just raid them.

I mean rightfully no one gave Aresco credit for that attempted B12 raid or the attempted MWC raid. So why would anyone give Judy credit for this, which is just as likely as that Big 12 raid and far less likely than the MWC one?

I'm not asking to give Judy credit. Simply pointed out that sitting back and waiting to be raided is full surrender.

It’s not anymore pathetic than the AAC trying to pick off AFA and CSU. Any reasonable person knew that wasn’t going anywhere.
I also highly doubt any AAC school would agree to this
