McCasland is a great coach but until I’ve seen that he’s replaced Hamlet with someone equally capable I have trouble putting them that high. He really put the team on his back at times the last few years.

I can't argue with a prediction that puts Charlotte around 8th. We have so many transfers coming in that should get significant minutes that I don't think you can project how well our team will gel and perform. If we look like a pickup team of decent players, but each doing their own thing, I think we will probably finish in the low middle of the conference. However, if Coach Sanchez can make this work I think we should be looking at a Tier 1 performance. As fans I think we are looking for Sanchez to actually prove he is the right guy for the job this year. The individual talent on this team could be enough to make a run at the conference title, but we need the coach to be effective to get there.

Tech has always hovered over the 20 win mark in CUSA but just never makes the move at the right time for an NCAA bid. We have got to get in this year. Too much talent to miss again.

ODU usually finishes in the top four of the conference standings. I think that fifth is the lowest they have been, and I think that has only happened once or maybe twice.

A pain we know all too well. It would be really nice for C-USA to get multiple bids this year. Would make the conference pecking order in football more palatable.

We have had amazing talent and coaching but no ticket to the dance. I mean Paul Milsap talent but no dance. It feels like we would have lucked into a tourney bid by now but no such luck.
