NonRivals Predictions - UofToledoFans - 10-08-2021 12:37 AM

28-10 and the series goes our way for over 67%, all time. Then we get to root for the dogs to sh!t all over BUGS next week.

Still not completely sold on our offense yet. Our last two wins have been against teams that didn’t have statistically strong defenses, and yet for good chunks of those games, it was our D that carried us. I expect more of the same. 17-13 Rockets.

Good guys win 24–14.

I think this week is going to be a "put up or shut up" game for Carter Bradley. He sees the love that DQ is getting on social media and from the fans for his rushing abilities. I think CB will come out in the same mental space at ND and leads this team. His ability to put the ball on target to the guys in space opens up the running game which is something we will need against a hungry Huskie defense.

I have the Rockets big. Beautiful weather, juiced up crowd, and a Happy Homecoming. 42-9

I'd love to see the # of targets vs drops compared to last
season by each receiver. Hope the Rockets have learned to pick up blitzes.

Carter’s stats would be much better if it weren’t for all the drops that we see. Game in and game out. I’ve been mostly in support of coach Candle. But the lack of movement on offense outweighs his ability to recruit. It’s time for a change. Wether he goes altogether or he gets an OC on the coaching staff

You guys give Bradley way too much credit. I’ve attended all but one game this year and he is missing receivers constantly. Granted, the line has been awful and we don’t run the right plays or throw to the TEs but this offense just doesn’t perform with Bradley under center. Hell, Finn is not much better as a passer but his legs are dangerous enough.

If Candle had balls, Gleason would be starting. But, we’ll continue this 2 QB system and keep having the same results. Thank God the defense gives us chances to win…

I don't know if Bradley is the guy, but most of the time he has defenders in his face.

I'd like to see Gavin Hall get a shot. Remember him?

I don't agree with that at all RF, respectfully. My perceptions might not be consistent with stats but my perception is except when obviously keeping it out of the defenses hands, he's dropping dimes. Just mostly at the same speed limit and some are bounding off hands. I honestly only recall a couple badly thrown. One did kind of dig up some artificial turf at the ND game.

Since those behind the QB spider cams came into being and me being too cheap to pay for ESPN, those being the only views I get free, I've come to a MUCH better appreciation of QB's and recievers. That ball is traveling through hands, bodies and is thrown before receivers even make their cuts, all while both are being hacked at by people with NO manners at all, yet the QBs get it there and the receivers catch it.

I’m thinking in the neighborhood of 31-21 (Rockets)...

I think his biggest fault is he has a habit of throwing low. I have seen most of his misses be at the ankles. Maybe that’s by design, but I don’t know

Does anyone have an extra ticket for tomorrow’s game.

RE: NonRivals Predictions - falconplucker - 10-08-2021 06:16 PM

I never thought I would see the day, where defense carried the Toledo Rockets, but that seems to be the theme this year. Toledo is a team, where the defense gives the offense opportunities to score. NIU can score, they've proven that, but their defense is not as good as Toledo's. I could see Toledo 31 Not Our Rivals 17.
