Any estimates for any of the remaining four homers? Homecoming is Oct. 14 vs Ohio.

Less than an 8A schools

He was there. I walked right past him. He was up in the skybox.

He came out of the Yordon Center onto the field in the 4th (was after one of the disgusting drives we had in the 4th quarter).

They must be using that funny math or tickets sold.

Looks like a lot of empty seats.

Homecoming will be decent. That’s the only game the alumni association promotes. And they do it for six months.

The following week against EMU. Maybe 10k. The last two midweek games will be under 5k. The EMU game will be my last one.

Probably won’t watch Toledo game and I’ve cancelled our Akron trip.

Drawing 10k on a sunny 72-degree Saturday in September is genuinely scary. That would've been completely unheard of not that long ago.

Yea the weather couldn't have been any better. Truly scary. Although it's a team that keeps losing at home and not only that, doesn't provide any excitement on offense at all.

Don't think for a minute that NIU isn't using tickets sold (or "funny math") when it comes to qualifying for Division I status. The difference is NIU's athletic administration purposely never reveals that number. Our attendance sent to the NCAA is as transparent as the contract extensions that come from Lowden or STF's office.

Get the bands back, we will have those seats filled no problem

My Facebook feed is filled with posts of people I know and their kids at ISU over the weekend. The crowd looks pretty dang good and much better than the picture posted above.

With that said…I’m getting tired of seeing pictures of people I know and their ISU gear on week in and week out. Well done ISU….03-banghead

They're probably zoomed in shots of a filled in area. I took the screenshot from one of their scored TDs when they finally zoomed out to show the crowd. All the pictures I saw online were zoomed in.

Here's the video: https://x.com/NCAA_FCS/status/1705668005013680399?s=20

They also appear to have tiny stands that would be easier to fill in. If NIU played in a stadium that only had 13k seats we'd always look like a sellout.

They had less than 7k in week 1. Guess this was their big crowd.

Quit talking about this. You're going to give the current admin too many ideas.

ISU had family weekend for the Lindenwood game. In speaking with ISU grads that I know, they draw really well for family weekend and Homecoming. The rest of the games only draw so so.

If that stadium holds only 13k they had less than 10k in that shot. Also FYI easier to up your game attendance when there is an extra 5000 students on campus. 03-banghead

Well, it was supposed to be Family Weekend at NIU last Saturday also.

Yea, apparently "family" was singular.

If NIU was a car, it would be a unreliable broken down beater. I would be trading it in.

C'mon, I'm sure it's good for at least another 150 miles before the gasket goes.
