Those folks @Wisconsin are pretty smart. The 'knew' that today would be a hot one so they scheduled the game for early evening or, more likely, FS1 had an open slot.
I'm betting on the latter. It is still going to be say low 80s at game time. Those big WI OLs are going to earn their money. Oops, earn their athletic scholarships. I think their right guard should do NIL with a deodorant company.
Talking about betting, will our friend Jessie's betting sponsor offer 200 : 1 on tonight's game? Looks like 40 : 1 to me. EDIT: Correction: EMU is 12.6 :1 (WI is - 40:1).

EMU has a 3 game winning streak against the Big Ten. The last time a Big Ten team managed to beat EMU was seven years ago when MSU won in 2014 (unfortunately that was a doozy 73-14). Let’s keep this steak going!!!

Generally outside of ESPN I've watched these type of games on B10 Network and games like UMass and Army on CBS Sports. Curious as why this is on Fox Sports 1. (at least in my area).

I think Fox gets the higher rated B1G games. FS1 the lesser (S)
Today, Fox has Oregon @ Ohio State at noon. They (Fox) have MLB Yankees vs. Mets in prime time. Hence, they are vacating the prime time slot tonight.
FS1 has BSU @ Penn. State and our game in the late afternoon/evening hours.
Other games hosted by B1G schools will go to the ESPN family or BTN. ABC has the UofM game tonight.
Remember, TV rights normally flow through the home team. If the home team conference has rights with XYZ network (family) then then one of their networks picks up the game.
And it is messy. B1G has contracts with ESPN/ABC, Fox, their own BTN, etc. They need to divide up that B1G pie.

Picture perfect day for football. And what a slate of games it is! Iowa vs Iowa State in Ames in a Top 10 matchup. Could be an instant classic and then Eastern Michigan University travels to Madison. The only thing I know is that EMU is going to play tough and will not quit. Will that be enough against the behemoth Badgers? It doesn't matter as long as they don't quit out there and stand tall and execute . As a bonus, hopefully the Washington Huskies pull the upset in the Big House. Keep the beer flowing and good luck today to the boys from Ypsilanti!!!

Not a whole lot of non college sports entertainment in Iowa - just waiting for the 2024 GOP caucus.
They get excited if a MLB game comes once a year to a corn field.
