FWIW...from an Orlando Sentinel article - oldmangrizz - 07-02-2021 08:19 AM

The media reports that Penny, the head coach at the University of Memphis, had emerged as a leading candidate for the Magic head-coaching job were, quite frankly, overblown. It’s fascinating to see how such narratives take off in today’s Internet media world where it doesn’t really matter if you’re right as long as you’re first.

I wish my job was one where I could be completely wrong and have zero consequences. I'd also like to be able to tell my superiors, "Well I tried to call that person, but they didn't immediately call me back."

Interesting how Memphis coaches are getting a lot of publicity in Florida. Norvell now has the #3 football recruting class in the country and could move up.
