For other football challenged schools who don't have football to look forward to and love to drag around on their basketball schedules (like mine), this particular thread is about men & women's futbol or soccer scheduling as well as coaching hires.

Well, ours is not announced yet but I’ll keep you posted when this year’s 16th ranked Rice Owls Women’s Soccer schedule is up. We had a nice little run in the NCAA’s and hope to keep that momentum going again this fall…

No schedule for CUSA member South Carolina yet, but we do have a new coach finally after 45 years with Mark Berson. Going to be a lot different this fall.

It's still Mississippi University for Women. For whatever reason, the "for Women" was left off. MUW definitely needs a name change.

BTW, in case you guys are wondering why Pensacola Christian if I didn't graduate from there, allow me to explain: the high school I went to used ABeka curriculum which is written and published at Pensacola Christian College. Also, in addition, one of my very best friends graduated from there as well.

Glad you are taking steps to get stronger. We need more of that. We have 4-5 teams in conference for MSOC now that can compete with anyone and we produced a national champion. If USC got strong again it would solidify that to 5-6 teams any given year, for sure. That's pretty strong.

I can see the style of play change a lot at South Carolina in the next few years as new coach Tony Annan starts to recruit his own players. It seems as though Benson has just been on cruse control the last 3-5 years.
CUSA doesn't get talked about like the ACC or even top half of the Big East but I think it is one of the top 3-4 soccer conferences in nation. Especially the top 4-5 programs.

I hope so! I am not a huge "soccer guy", but I do try to follow USC. Hopefully the new coach can turn it back around and get us to where we were 15-20 years ago.
