New York OL Commits to CMU - BeatWestern! - 06-20-2021 03:50 PM
Offensive lineman Alex Heininger (6-5, 275) of Rochester (N.Y.) Brighton High School announced his commitment to Central Michigan this afternoon, via Twitter.
A class of 2022 recruit, Heininger was at CMU this weekend for an official visit.
He chose the Chippewas over reported offers from Buffalo, UMass, Florida International, Fordham, Maine and New Hampshire. He also took an unofficial visit to Syracuse on June 11.
Heininger becomes the second offensive lineman and sixth known recruit overall in CMU's 2022 class.

Fanatic, the kid is still only 16 and will be 17 when he begins his freshman year of college.
IMHO, P5 offers will come, including Syracuse, in an attempt to flip him. We'll see how this plays out.

yes i am sure some big offers will come, fingers crossed they remain a Chippewa, but wow has our recruiting been on fire past 2 years!
