Linebacker Jalen Handford (6-1, 225) of Gurnee (Ill.) Warren Township High School announced his commitment to Central Michigan this afternoon, via Twitter.
A class of 2022 recruit, Handford took an official visit to CMU this weekend after receiving a scholarship offer from the Chippewas on April 29.
Handford also reports offers from South Dakota, Fordham and Indiana State. He becomes the fifth known commitment in CMU's 2022 class.
