Robert Mueller to Teach Class on Mueller Investigation - CrimsonPhantom - 06-04-2021 10:15 PM

Quote:The University of Virginia announced this week that they will offer a new course on the Mueller investigation of Trump’s non-existent collusion with Russia. Mueller will teach at least one class.

This move is especially ironic when you recall Mueller’s testimony before Congress. He seemed to know very little about the Mueller investigation.

It’s more likely that this is a political reward. It’ll be fascinating to learn how much UVA will pay Mueller.

Oriana Gonzalez reports at Axios:

Mueller to help teach university course on Mueller investigation

The University of Virginia announced on Wednesday that it will start offering a new course on the Mueller investigation, and students will hear from Robert Mueller himself.

Details: Starting this fall, students at the UVA School of Law will be able to take the course, titled The Mueller Report and the Role of the Special Counsel, which will offer an inside look at the almost two-year investigation into former President Trump’s dealings with Russia and Russia’s possible interference in the 2016 election.

Mueller will teach the course alongside Aaron Zebley, Jim Quarles and Andrew Goldstein, all of whom worked with him during the investigation. UVA said Mueller will lead at least one class out of the six in-person sessions taking place this fall.

Mueller said he hopes to bring other top prosecutors as guest speakers during the term.

Ben Leonard of Politico provides a reminder that Mueller did not, in fact, find evidence that Trump colluded with Russia:

Mueller to help lead UVa law school class on Russia investigation

Former special counsel Robert Mueller will take part in a University of Virginia law school class covering his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and potential ties to the Trump campaign, the school announced Wednesday.

Mueller, who graduated from the school in 1973, will lead “at least one class” of the course, which is being taught by three former senior Mueller team members, including deputy special counsel Aaron Zebley, according to a release from the school. The “short” class, called “The Mueller Report and the Role of the Special Counsel,” will be taught in person this fall…

Mueller’s report ultimately did not evidence to show that Trump’s campaign engaged in a criminal conspiracy to aid Russian interference attempts. The report did not rule out that Trump obstructed justice, but also did not implicate him of it. Mueller also found that the Russian government meddled in the 2016 election in “sweeping and systematic fashion,” and his office charged dozens of Russian people and entities with federal crimes.

So UVA students will pay for a course about an investigation, which wasted millions of dollars and two years, found nothing. What a nearly perfect metaphor for most of higher education today.

Robert Mueller should be in the same home as Ole Joe playing Bingo.

Public VA schools used to be held in high esteem. With this farce of a class, combined with Jim Comey's class on ethical leadership at William and Mary, one has to wonder if this once great state is beyond saving.

The Mueller investigation was never about collusion.

I could teach that class:

Step 1 - go into an investigation with a pre-conceived notion
Step 2 - make your point by any means necessary

You pretty much explained every court case in a nutshell.
