What an amazing win by a great team. I am looking forward to tomorrow night. It just so happens that I will be meeting up with 9 JMU grads I went to college with for a guys weekend. We will now include watching the softball game in our festivities.

A lot can happen with crazy double elimination playoffs...but from my read, i *think* that if JMU and OU both win their next game, it's a rematch sunday

If JMU wins tonight then OU is gonna need to win twice(UGA then OSU) to get to a rematch. If JMU loses tonight then OU would get the rematch just by beating UGA.

Yep - 3:08 screwed me yesterday with breaking news.
On the flip side my family did not know until we watched last night. I did not tell them I knew the outcome until after the game. At first I was pissed, but it was less stressful to watch when I knew Kate would win it with a HR. Since I knew the final score was 4-3 I also knew no more runs would be scored until Kate's HR.
Certainly less stressful for me.

No, it's two completely separate brackets and each one works just like the regional. We're in a bracket with OU, OSU, UGA and we can't meet UCLA, Bama, FSU, or Arizona until the championship series.

Maybe you're right, seems a bit unclear on their website as it has 2 brackets one indicating crossover, on that doesn't.

Yeah I was gonna suggest the printable bracket, it makes it a little more clear than the interactive bracket imo. But yeah, that's definitely how it works, I'm usually following the WCWS and CWS closely because of the Gators. Stoked to be following it even more closely because of JMU instead.

Dukes win today, they would play winner of Game 9 which would be loser of UCLA-Bama vs winner of OU/UGA
Dukes lose today, they play the winner of AZ-FSU.
There's a scenario where the Dukes could play OU in the championship series.
