With a 5-4 win today over Toledo, Central Michigan has claimed the 2021 Mid-American Conference Baseball Championship and automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
There's a good chance runner-up Ball State will receive an at-large bid.

Beating UofM is always a good day.
It is interesting that before the tournament started, the Detroit TV Media was covering UofM going to to it. And they might mention that CMU was going too.
But when CMU beats UofM, nothing. No mention of it on the local tv stations. They don’t want to bring attention to the fact that a MAC team from the same state beat UofM. Typical.
