We’ve had 2 top 50 seasons, a few top 100 seasons and a few between 100-150ish. Very few above that.
When ODU is where they used to be and their main in-state rival (VCU) has moved well ahead of them in a short period of time, being where you have been for the last 30 years is not good enough.

I agree. We’ve spent a lot of money and built a lot of “state of the art” facilities to attract the types of talent that is supposedly needed but at the end of the day I honestly just don’t see the program progressing. As I said, trending toward lower levels of mid major.

With JJ's lack of quality recruiting over the years, this program has been trending downwards for 10 years now. There is no excuse for it other then poor recruiting with no improvements in the future. JJ is killing this program and the majority of it's fans.

Based on previous years scheduling I would imagine games against JMU and ECU are coming for sure with perhaps a big P5 opponent on the road to round it out

You misunderstood. It was 6, 5 foot 10 or taller players.

Last year's game was cancelled so I presume this is the fulfillment of that part of the contract.
