She’s much sharper than Palin. Also Palin’s accent I think did her no favors. Here is a snippet of Noem from a couple months back.

If you pay attention, salsucki mainly follows me around making disparaging remarks to my posts. He has some kind of obsession with me. He rarely comments otherwise. I’d be flattered, but I don’t swing the same way he does.

And for what it's worth, Ms. Palin is VERY intelligent, but she was "downgraded' by many because she spoke with an accent, (sort of how many people under-estimate a typical southerner, because they've been brainwashed into thinking accent = dumb) and in very simple terms to make it understandable to the general public.

Sort of like a certain previous president did.. the one those of you on the left hate with a passion... Mr. Reagan.
