To the rest of the world, the Lawsons look awesome. For Memphis to be holding grudges because of something that essentially rests on the shoulders of Bowen and Tubby, along with Bam Poo and Saul....., welp that just ain't right.
Besides which, the former Tiger Lawsons were greatly needed in every game---one was our best player. This situation is entirely different.

But one thing both KJ and Dedric had in them...They had some dog in 'em...They would go after it. I would hope both of these kids are the same.
But this whole Zoom call with Creighton just seems similar to the powerplay they made on Paster with Daddy "Interviewing" with other teams.

Had Dedric played 4 years for us, I think he would have ended up the 2nd all time leading scorer and rebounder in Memphis history.

If the Lawson's don't get what the parents feel as adequate minutes/touches/stats, this could turn south, real fast. Again.

I gained a new measure of respect for KJ in the article Mark Giannotto wrote. I thought he came across as having matured a lot, very honest and humble. And a rooter of Penny and the Tigers. It was a pleasure to read that. I never thought we'd see the day where another pair of Lawson's would stripe up, but it's cool if everyone is on the same page and fighting for the same thing. Pretty refreshing.

same thing I felt come through. KJ has matured more in a short span of time than many 'adults' probably ever will. lol
