The WAC may soon add bowling as a league sport.
The Southland Bowling League is all affiliate members of the Southland with just Sam Houston State and Stephen F Austin having full membership; the Southland just "administers' it.
Very curious to see if WAC takes ownership as the SBL would feature 0 Southland members on July 1 but then again its just "administered".

This must happen. Top‐priority item, in my opinion. Didn't the SFA women win a 'ship a few years ago?

SHSU won a title and then SFA won a pair of titles, including the most recent in 2019 (last championship before the current one).
Former WAC member Louisiana Tech is also a member of the Southland Bowling League. Other schools include Arkansas State, Tulane, Valpo, Vanderbilt and Youngstown State. The SBL has a nationally-leading five teams in the NCAA tournament field and is the best NCAA bowling conference there is. The NEC has four teams in comparison.
There was at least one school in the bracket this year that I hadn't heard of! Medaille Mavericks (D3) who knocked off Nebraska in opening round and gets a date against them today in an elimination game rematch
