Chris Webber Timeout Anniversary (4/5/93) - schmolik - 04-05-2021 06:23 AM

Arguably the biggest mistake in NCAA Men's Tournament history.

I was at Illinois. This was way before the conference pride days (or maybe the SEC had started cheering for each other by then). I hated Michigan back then because they were the Big Ten's top dog in both men's basketball and football and kept beating Illinois (Penn State wasn't in the Big Ten yet). So I loved it when this happened and I was a North Carolina fan because of Michael Jordan being a Chicago Bull.

Remember the game well. Watched it in a restaurant with friends and then went to a bar afterward so I could start celebrating my 21st birthday at midnight. [/align]

Also an anniversary of his travel which wasn’t called.

Fred Brown, 1982 Georgetown, says "hold my beer".

Funny how North Carolina benefitted from two of them, LOL.

I agree that is worse. But you have to admit James worthy was wide open.
