I know only spring practice but does Rocky look better than Ross.

That’s a good question because I liked Bowers......

I liked Bowers too. I kind of think he would have gone pro in the right situation. Great pocket awareness and throwing form.

If your QB throws 4 or 5 TDs in practice situations, throws it away when nothing is there, is mobile enough to move out of the pocket and still make a play by throwing or running, then you have someone you can root for game after game.

Ross had a different situation. Last season was an inexperienced line and the team was behind often. He was then forced to do too much in order to win.

Rocky will be better because this team will compete better. That is my expert opinion after seeing 1 practice. Now get on Draft Kings and bet the farm.

I feel like we will end up li,e the Colts in terms of QB play styles, where I see Bowers having a Philip Rivers like play style, as Bowers is that true pocket passer, while Lombardi I have heard Carson Wentz comparisons, where Lombardi won't blow guys away on the field running it, but will move a lot more than Bowers and has more of a slinger type throwing style. Just my thoughts tho

Ross could get real hot. He was amazing in some games like the Ohio game, Ball State a couple years ago. But he had small hands and turned the ball over in critical situations, like the Vandy game and half the games last year. Great kid though. Hopefully, Lombardi has bigger hands and better ball security.

It sucks it didn't work out for him. But you're right, great kid. He didn't whine about anything or throw us under the bus. He was working with everything against him, and tried his best. That's admirable. He's got a kid now, and I'm sure he will succeed in whatever he chooses to do next. Hopefully coaching?

You have to love Bowers. He gave it everything he had and never complained, as you guys stated.

A stark contrast from Conor Neville. I'm still bitter about that.

Huge Bowers fan...honestly that guy got whacked a few times, this past season he had happy feet and made mistakes because of it. I don’t fault him one bit.

Tough kid. Great passer. On a different huskie team we could be talking one of our 2 best of all time.

Omg. Behind any of the lines in the early 2010s? Those were good O lines for us. I'm speaking of the lines for Harnish, Lynch and Hare.
