After going 2-5 in the MAC regular season they finished a close third in the tournament. As in all sports it was a weird season but they finished 29th in the nation out of about 60 or so DI programs (a few less this year due to COVID). Thirty six teams make the NCAA so unless there is a modification due to COVID they will make the Tournament. There are four 9 team regionals with the top 16 teams being seeded and the remaining teams being placed geographically. The 8 and 9 team in each regional compete in a duel meet with the winner moving on to two four team groups in each regional (gymnastics really make things complicated, this used to be 6 six team regional with the top two teams going to the nationals). The winners of those four team groups (duel meets)advance to the nationals. Kent finds out where they go tomorrow at 5PM. They will probably end up in the 8/9 qualifier. If they were to win that meet it would be a pretty good performance for them.

They actually made the 7th seed in Morgantown, West Virginia. Avoided that rat tail match up.

Finished fourth of 4. Got off to a great start on the Floor and were actually a close second to UCLA but it was all downhill from there. Scored 194.300 which was their lowest of the year. They have been inconsistent this year and it showed up tonight.
