Lions fans think of him as the guy that took half the season off because of injury even when he may not have been hurt.

I doubt he would have done that. It was a contract year for him.

Free agency in the NFL you usually over pay for previous sins. KG is not a #1. You do not game plan for him.Is he good? YES...but not a NFL game changer. $40M guarnteed is BIG cake.

NFL history is littered with bad WR contracts. Hope this isn't one of them, but its dicey territory especially on a meh team like the Giants.

Yeah..... he’s not elite and going to a team with a worse QB than he had in Detroit.

He had over 3,000 yards in 4 seasons and barely played last season.

Matt Stafford is gone, can't blame him for wanting to leave a team that is doing a complete rebuild.

He’s a very good receiver. He got hurt a little too much for my liking, but that was mostly due to his style of play where he got taken out by NFL DBs when he was going for Stafford’s jump balls. He doesn’t have the body of a Calvin Johnson that can take those types of hits a lot.

As a lions fan, I’m glad to see him get paid though from another team as the Lions need the money they would have spent to keep him to fill the numerous roster holes they have.
