Seemed like a hard worker and good teammate, just didn't have the offensive game for our system and was a little light for a line-up where he didn't have anyone with beef on him to help defend the interior. Sac State is nothing special, no one goes to California to go to Sacramento, but it's D1 and offers some opportunity. Komagum really improved from year 1 of juco to year 2 and I'd expect him to grow into a solid low major big man before he's done. Number 1 on the hit parade... RE: Acunzo Transferring - Springboromark - 04-01-2021 01:48 PM So Nunge would have how many years of eligibility left ? Love to see him considered the Rockets, but wouldn't surprise me to see him land at Evansville. RE: Acunzo Transferring - northcoastRocket - 04-26-2021 04:41 PM Maranka is headed to DII Davenport University ... I had to look that one up to find it is in Caledonia Township, MI. Good luck to Luke. RE: Acunzo Transferring - Sleepy - 04-26-2021 04:54 PM (04-01-2021 01:48 PM)Springboromark Wrote: So Nunge would have how many years of eligibility left ? I know—we don’t have any scholarships left & weren’t interested in getting a power forward anyway. I just think he’s gonna be an impact player if he does make the move up to D-1. Shame the Rockets couldn’t get him or someone like him. Our 2 freshmen “bigs” (and on this team, 6’6” qualifies as being big) better grow up in a hurry next season if we hope to win the MAC tournament. RE: Acunzo Transferring - rocket 51 - 04-26-2021 08:36 PM Surprised he didn't go to Grand Valley St. Right across town from DU. Possibly a more competitive league.
