Is it me or does Gage look leaner this year? He was kind of pudgy in previous seasons.
I have no idea if he will be a better passer. He was only 3-6 vs Elon and has limited game experience to draw any conclusions. He is a better power runner and should require defenses to account for him on the read option. If it is third and 2, I do have confidence he can keep and run through a tackle at the LOS to get 2 yards.
Cojo is able to run on the keeper too and has shown ability to get chunk gains in his career but that is mostly due to the defense not respecting him and focusing on the RB. Cojo isn’t going to break any tackles or be elusive enough to make tacklers miss.
We’ll see about the passing game. I expect the running game to get immediately better with Gage. Perhaps that will help offset losing All American Fornadel at RT.

Gage doesn't need to be a terrific passer. He just needs to make less mistakes than CJ.
I will agree a little with CJ's running skills. I thought he was a pretty impressive runner as tall as he is. I do think Gage is more of a dual threat than CJ, though.
Looking forward to seeing Gage start this Saturday.

With Delaware blowing out Maine we really need to start putting some points on the board against CAA competition to ensure there are no issues with the tiebreakers

This game will be closer than I thought two weeks ago.
And the offensive coaching is just as big an issue, if not bigger than Cole, and more concerning to me.

1-C) Shane

Of course this is the game that I had chosen to attend. Depending on when it will be made up I probably can't make it due to kids sports. Oh well saves me 9 hours of driving.

The tricky part is we've now used up the bye week and a second postponement likely turns into a cancellation.
