4 corners taken in the second round. 1 in the 3rd. Was Coby projected to go on day 2?

Gets Pitts, Ridley, and London to throw to with one of the better offensive minds in football to coach him...can't really ask for much better of a situation.

Second qb off the board. Second qb taken. How he gets his shot early.

I really thought that maybe TB would make a run at him. Brady is around for at least one more year but who the hell knows after that. Being able to sit for a year and just soak up the offense, not to mention being mentored by Tom Brady...that would have been an amazing chance.

The downside? Brady has not shown himself really to be the "mentor type" thus far, there's a new Coach in town, and whoever follows Tom Brady will have the weight of the world on his shoulders.

But Atlanta it is! A much better organization than Houston, Detroit, Jax, or some of the others he could have been snagged by. Solid ownership and they will put a quality team on the field around Ridder.

Once again proves you can't believe the pre-draft scuttlebutt. Went from possible 1st round (as high as #20), to the 3rd round. Good for him though. Hopefully he makes his mark.

I think a lot of the hype was coming from the UC people on social media pushing a very pro UC narrative which while good for the brand also created a let down when Ridder wasn’t picked earlier. I am interested to see if the UC total gets past 7. 8 or 9 is the number floated out there by the pro UC media but some national websites were closer to 7.

I think it really will rely on Beavers. I've seen grades all over the place on him...but he has some of the stiffest hips I've seen from a guy in coverage. That's a tough thing for some people to get over, and he will have to go to a team with a very specific role for him as a rush LB...not many teams run straight 3-4s where that is prevalent anymore.
