Talk about balanced scoring - 10 in the scoring column with none scoring more than 13 points.

4 straight good halves of basketball from Hernandez. Seems to be the one stepping forward to replace Nuga.

True anti-zip. Hernandez and Jacobs. Jacobs also had a solid 24 minutes and is their best perimeter defender.

Lots of moaning over the years re: Senderoff and playing freshmen, but JH and VCD are the perfect example of why and why not. Hernandez, even before Nuga was sidelined, was playing about 12-min a game as a freshman (albeit redshirt) who seemed to be getting that time for perimeter defense and not to gum up the offense.

I believe the redshirt year got JH to understand the two and be comfortable in that role. Right now, he's Mitch Peterson light, and that's OK. VCD is a true freshman, without a true position no matter where one wants to put him on the baseline.

It's just not fair (shy of injury) to think VCD should play ahead of DP, JHam, TB or JH. The argument VCD has right now is he's possibly better than EB, which only makes him a 5-min player in a blowout.

The plus is VCD will be a 'freshman' next year and quite likely (with off-season work) able to make a JHernandez-type contribution next season at whatever position (sf/pf) the coaching staff puts him in.

hernandez with another solid performance.

gio was lights-out (except for the one air ball.)

Winning some games! I’m starting to think the Flashes are a strong bet.

I have said it before, here it is again: This team is easy to like.

5 losses all to top 100 teams on kenpom. I know the lack of Non Conference games is probably the big reason for this, but right now there are 4 MAC teams in the top 100 on kenpom with a 5th at #106.

The challenge is getting at least an equal number of Top 100 Kenpom wins.
