We are now 3 games behind TxSt in the loss column. There is a ton of the season left, but realistically it is likely we will have to sweep them in San Marcos if we want to win the division. A split would mean they own the tie-breaker which basically would mean we are 4 games behind them. I realize this is pretty premature at this point. They could tank and we could get on a roll. Still the series down there may well be key if we want to be in the race. We looked like the team we expected for the first 33 minutes last night. Not so much for the last 47 minutes of the weekend. I worried the last 7 minutes, from last night, would carry over to today and it looked like it did. At this point, our record and our overall play is the definition of "mediocre". Hopefully, we can turn things around.
