I hate to to hear this, hope Lindsey recovers well.

Curious how this affects the offense and the playcalling.

Has Troy given up on the season??? I understand COVID and all, but MTSU is a terrible football team.....

20-10 MTSU, we’ll now 20-17 MTSU with less then a minute to go.

As soon as I heard all of the players and coaches that were out, I had a feeling this would happen.

Lindsey is the HC and OC. So that's basically two coaches out right there. Then you add in the D-Line Coach and Asst HC/WR Coach being out.

Who's coaching these position groups on the sidelines during the game? The grad assistants?

Throw in our starting RB, DL, DE, and three OL being out... plus 5 others on the two-deep... there's just no way, even if it is MTSU.

I'm amazed Troy even got this game in considering the COVID guidelines.

It's not the first time bad coaching has ruined a Troy team. No excuses given how bad MTSU is.

Covid, no Covid. Bad coaching going back to last year. We haven’t beat’n anyone of consequence, and almost lost to a D1-AA club on a last sec kick. I just want the season to be over with so this guy can be put on the hot seat and fired after next season because I am highly confident he’ll screw that up as well. THEN TROY needs to take this sh*t seriously and perform a REAL HC search. TROY has the talent. TROY is a great school. Come off the money, and find a real HC.

If they haven't already, they need to quietly start making a list of possible replacements for Lindsey. Do a real search. At this point he has to know he's done if they don't have a huge turnaround next year, so it won't shock him. I'm not opposed to people connected to the university, but it's okay to look elsewhere, too. Only wonder how much of an issue the admin will be in getting a good hire.

Yup, perform a serious REAL coaching search. Not a half-ass’d search, or just hire someone because he’s from a Power 5 school.

Maybe Neal Brown will be available soon.03-lmfao

WVU fans aren't thrilled and are losing confidence in him. He went 5-7 his first season, and will likely finish either 6-4 or 5-5 this season. For some reason they think Brown should be winning Big 12 titles only two years into cleaning up Dana Holgorsen's mess.

Coach Neal back at TROY, bro, I could die and go to heaven!!

I told my neighbor, a WVU grad, that Coach Neal was not the kind of coach who’s gonna make them a national power. Coaching and Winning on the Power 5 level is totally diff there. The level of players talent can beat coaching Talent. He’s coaching against continued NFL talent. NOW!...He will make WVU an annual 7-8 win team, but not consistently fighting for Conf champion or anything like that.

I believed coach Neal should’ve went to UConn. Building that program, winning 7-8 games there would've made him a god there; making more $$$ in the end.

His teams always had offenses that were pretty good, but never great. I think he needs a great offense to win consistently in the BIG12. He certainly has the defense, even without Vic.

Why would he have gone to UConn??? That makes no sense.
