The late counted votes were mostly in one county. Fulton. Largest population in the state. Dem controlled. That's where the "water pipe broke." Ballots didn't get wet but it slowed them down. For a day.

have to slow down counting so that the election day total is in
and then they know the margin they need.

I'm Moreno referring to the fact that the same thing is happening there, in a state control by a GOP Governor (who is a very staunch Trump ally) and whose Chief Election Official is a Republican, that is happening in states that people are yelling about fraud.

You’ve never done public work in the Fulton County area. Lol

It’s like little Chicago.

So it's on the local officials (who are admittedly abhorrently corrupt, something that has been abundantly clear based on some of the public work my previous Civil Engineering employer prior to the University I now teach at did in the area), not the state officials who oversee the tabulation and certify the election? I'm just making sure I understand where the argument lies in Georgia, because it's going to have to be different than the other states (with the exception of AZ if that ends up going Biden)...but Doug Ducey is a whole other problem entirely.

I just want to make sure I can square the arguments to better understand perspectives from both sides...as you know Rath, I'm as mid-lined and even keeled as there is probably.

Can you prove the story isn't true or do you just not like Metric Media because they are a conservative source?

https://www.jsonline.com/story/news/politics/elections/2020/11/04/fact-check-wisconsin-did-not-have-more-votes-than-registered-voters/6166062002/

Looks like the story is debunked.

No, the claim in question wasn’t that the whole state had more votes than registered voters, it was that certain precincts did. The last article posted doesn’t address that point.

Yeah, the numbers are completely made up BS. This has happened over and over with these sites that pretend to be local news sites but are really part of a large disinformation network. They have no named reporters, they print no retractions, it will just disappear from the internet when its job is done.

All of these sites were created from thin air in the summer of 2019 using names that sound like local papers, and are a method to spread legit sounding lies because people glance at the name and assume it is a local paper.

Let’s take a look at the numbers :
Go to here - https://county.milwaukee.gov/EN/County-Clerk/Off-Nav/Election-Results/Election-Results-Fall-2020

Then scroll down to federal and hit expand by ward. The first one listed in the fake news site is ward 274 with 202% turn out and 688 Biden votes. Funny enough, when we look at the official county website it shows 296 Biden votes for ward 274.

Let’s try another. Ward 273. The fake news sites lists ward 273 with 634 Biden votes, the official county website lists 313.

The numbers in the “Milwaukee City Wire” article are completely made up.

Trump started the phrase “fake news”. This is quite literally fake news. It is systematic disinformation being used to spread doubt about the validity of the voting process. It doesn’t matter who you voted for, this should piss you off because this is an attack on our democracy.

The sad thing is it may work. Long after that “article” has been deleted all someone will remember is that they clicked on a link on Facebook that opened up a “local paper” and they saw evidence of mail in voter fraud.

As an aside...I went to the County Clerk Office site.
Some of the Ward vote totals do match exactly so the data is not completely made up.
Starting at Ward 234 on down most of the data appears to be correct (I ony spot checked)

The Counts for Wards 274, 273, 272, 277 and 269 exactly match the clerks site for Wards 277, 276, 275, 280 and 272.
Whether they cut and pasted the first 5 Wards listed into a table incorrectly or were intentionally misleading I don't know.

So the story writer definitely did use the clerks site.

The Clerks site doesn't include eligible voters so one can not tell from their data how high a percentage each ward actually was.

I said this two days ago and of course redwing tom labeled it "just ridiculous".

These mail in votes were always going to be the supplement the democrats were going to use to steal the election.

HEY LOOK! HERE'S ANOTHER BOX OF MAIL IN'S OVER HERE !

Doesn't seem peculiar how everyone just assumes that these mail in ballots are almost all going to be for Biden? Why is that? Hmmmm?

RE: *** Official 2020 Election Thread *** - solohawks - 11-05-2020 06:37 AM

I THINK the real goal in Georgia is to force 2 December Senate runoffs.

That would be an election for control of the Senate.

They're just being cautious at this point...avoiding the debacles of past elections.

Too many unknowns still in AZ, NV, GA and PA.

Much of this could be solved if several GOP led states would allow processing of mail in ballots before election day, rather than making them wait to begin processing on election day morning when they're busy with other things in addition to the current day vote.

PRAY MY SOUL TO KEEP

The gap in Arizona was further reduced from 79k to 69k or from 2.9 percent to 2.4 percent. According to AP, 88 percent of votes were counted. Wapo thinks only 85 percent were counted. Will Trump catch up with Biden in AZ? Probably not but I am going to keep watching.

Just because the media has called a states red or blue doesn’t mean they are done counting. There are other states still counting mail in vote, Texas accepted mail in ballots until midnight on the 4th.

We are just focused on the final count in PA, GA, NV because it could swing the election. The count process is worse in states that don’t start counting until the poles close on. Nov 3rd.

In their defense they are usually large urban areas with alot of votes to count...
but they also get more resources due to their size... more money, have the more modern equipment and a ton more people to do the work than rural areas so it should not take them days longer.
