That was the first thing that I thought about, too.

Both McGee and Cardinale beat higher seeded wrestlers to place at the NCAA championships. All-Americans at West Virginia and Arizona State. Would have started at 125 and 133 this year in Norfolk if the glorious alma mater wasn't run by absolute jacklegs.

Gotta believe Martin is back at Great Bridge now. GB club practices have been a who’s who of former ODU wrestlers lately. Both Steve and Wayne leading practices. 04-rock

Announced one year to the day Selig & Broderick started to erase the wrestling team. I would like someone who has access to campus and the Athletic Administration building to walk through those halls to see if there's any evidence of the program, other than the old room being used for storage and other team's photos.

A number of the alumni who had their awards sent back to them have been extremely hurt by the fact "they're erasing our accomplishments from their own hallways." Some schools, even those who cut the sport through scumbaggery (i.e. Trev Alberts at Nebraska-Omaha) still have the NCAA trophies in their trophy case.

Aren’t you the same guy who throw a tantrum on twitter regarding the former wrestlers getting their awards back?

Which would satisfy you? Them getting the awards or them staying in the Jim Jarrett? 07-coffee3

I'd say that's a complete mischaracterization of the facts.
To make it even more clear -
I called out ODU for sending the awards back SHATTERED AND BROKEN. One CURRENT university employee told me directly "we really F-d that up."
I also am citing a number alumni who accomplished those feats have told me directly. Neither of those are my opinions, they are, while not attributed to any one individual, are direct comments to me about those situations. The most recent coming in the past several weeks.
