Hello old friend.

Go Flames! Beat Cuse!

Clemson flexing pretty good. Trevor Lawrence with career records and only playing one half.

So Clemson apparently brought all of the members of the Justice League today...

Spent it all beating GT... of course. F@$#

Clemson winning by 59. Spread was 26.5. GT not even competitive against Clemson's second string. This is just pitiful.

I chose to watch the Miami game and get groceries instead. I made the right call.

I have Auburn@UofSC instead. But I did the grocery thing too, totally worth it.

So if Clemson wins by 73 or more, can we hire their coach like we did last time the margin was this high?

Trivia for the rest of you, who was that coach?

With 5 minutes to go the Yellow Jackets just need 9 touchdowns and a field goal to force overtime... or make four 2-point PATs to win in regulation.

Hope your onside kick team is REALLY good!

I'm guessing that was some guy named John Heisman after the 1903 season.

Lots of good ACC games on today.

I still think Pitt is going to be a tough team for VT to beat.

After the first 3 series of the BC@VT game, I thought VT was going to lose. We had a +2 turnover margin and only had a 3 point lead plus the only way we could stop a drive was turnovers. BC was consistently driving down the field. Fortunately, VT forced 3 more turnovers and the defense played better the rest of the game. Not good, but good enough to win when you're averaging over 40 points a game.

I really thought UNC was going to come back and beat FSU. The 2 drops UNC WRs made on those last 2 plays were reminiscent of the drops they made against VT on 3rd down that stopped UNC drives. They were the only thing that stopped UNC vs. VT.

Too bad. I liked having 3 ACC teams in the top 5 but maybe we'll keep 4 in the top 15.

The only ACC game that really surprised me today was the Wake-UVA game. I figured UNC wouldn’t cover, but I expected a W. Guess that happens when you take off the whole first half.

Also, maybe we should throw Liberty in the poll to be ACC’s #16?

Kind of like how VT was down 35-14 at halftime vs. UNC last week but came back to 42-37 at the start of the 4th quarter but still lost any way?

Clemson demoted to the ACC Network next Saturday:

https://www.espn.com/college-football/schedule/_/week/8

Obviously they weren't demoted for bad play. They might have been demoted for playing too well (73-7). But I think the real reason they were passed over for ESPN was their opponent (Syracuse) losing at home to Liberty. The game replacing Clemson on ESPN is NC State at North Carolina. North Carolina lost at Florida State but that's nowhere near as humiliating as losing at home to Liberty. Notre Dame at Pittsburgh is the ABC game of the week.

Here are the ACC games for Halloween:
https://www.espn.com/college-football/schedule/_/week/9

Boston College at #1 Clemson
#4 Notre Dame at Georgia Tech
#5 North Carolina at Virginia
#23 Virginia Tech at Louisville
Wake Forest at Syracuse
Charlotte at Duke

So who gets the ABC game (assuming the ACC gets one?) Notre Dame is the biggest brand name but do you want to see Georgia Tech after 73-7? If you pass on them then you go with Clemson but do you want to see another 73-7? Pick your poison.

Just pencil in Cuse for the ACC or the RSN game.

NBC must be real happy at the prospect of a 1 or 2 win Cuse team playing Notre Dame at the end of the season.

That would have been Southern Cal's spot.

Looks like a one win season for SU Mark.

At least there's always basketball season for the Orange. Imagine if Virginia Tech sucked in football, what would they do?
