A Pleasant Day to Watch a Football Game (Gameday 10/10/20) - MaximumSam - 10-10-2020 08:37 AM Hello chaps. I'm new here, trying mostly in vain to find a message board that likes to talk college football without weird felxes into personal bs and politics. Anyway, giving it a shot. I'm looking forward to today's games - I'm a Buckeye fan and we have a few weeks to kill, but there are some real bangers on. Might be one of the last decent days in Ohio - may move the television outside. I have a brisket in the fridge that really needs a good cook and spending the day outside watching football, drinking beer, and cooking a slab of meat sounds like a plan. I agree, a good slate of games, and it will be great when the B1G rejoins us in two weeks. I will have four screens going in about 20 minutes, LOL. RE: A Pleasant Day to Watch a Football Game (Gameday 10/10/20) - MaximumSam - 10-10-2020 10:50 AM Nice! I have a screen outside and a screen inside - much to the chagrin of my kids who don't understand why I am using all the downstairs televisions RE: A Pleasant Day to Watch a Football Game (Gameday 10/10/20) - schmolik - 10-10-2020 11:33 AM Do they still make TV's with "picture in picture" anymore? Probably cheaper than getting multiple TV's. RE: A Pleasant Day to Watch a Football Game (Gameday 10/10/20) - schmolik - 10-10-2020 11:35 AM Can anyone believe Kirk Herbstreit picked Arkansas to win at Auburn on College Gameday? He said Oklahoma fans would be making fun of Gameday for all picking Texas. No, Auburn fans (and everyone else) will be making fun of you after Auburn beats the worst team in the SEC. You saw them last week and didn't like what you saw? They were playing Georgia. A lot of teams look bad vs. Georgia. https://www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/story/sports/2020/10/10/charles-barkley-interrupts-college-gameday-critique-kirk-herbstreit-auburn-football/5944694002/ RE: A Pleasant Day to Watch a Football Game (Gameday 10/10/20) - WhoseHouse? - 10-10-2020 11:36 AM Welcome to the board! I just bring them all in to one room. Wish I had a Man Cave with screens in the walls, LOL. Do you need four remotes or do you have some sort of high command center to control them all. The Bo Pelini effect. They might as well hire Faux Pelini RE: A Pleasant Day to Watch a Football Game (Gameday 10/10/20) - chess - 10-10-2020 01:49 PM I keep turning the channel. UNC looks like they are going to win against Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech has another weekend where they are missing players to COVID. Mack Brown has UNC playing tough. Here is a darkhorse to consider. NC State is beating Virginia. Texas A&M and Florida is a great game. I am enjoying this. For the same reason, I am enjoying Texas and Oklahoma. South Carolina and Vandy is a yawner. I am glad we have football. Sure looks that way. LSU clinging to a 41-38 lead late. Probably won't hold. |
