Power rankings 9/27 - GaSoEagle - 09-27-2020 12:05 PM
Still not a huge amount to go off of but I would go like this:
1. Louisiana. Dodging bullets the last 2 weeks but they have been missing some key parts.Still say they look like the best league team at this point.
2. App St. rolled over Campbell in the 2nd half. So far they don t look as good as last year but still stay #2
3. Arkansas St. K State win looks even better now. Big game at Coastal Saturday
4. Ga Southern. Played a good down-to-the -wire game vs the Cajuns. Got players back from Covid and looked like a good team vs the Cajuns
5. Coastal Carolina. We ll find out more when they host Ark St Saturday.
6. Troy. They drop 3 spots for me due to just being hammered at BYU. I expected a much more competitive game
7. Ga State. Still not sure what to make of this team
8. Texas St. not far from 3-1 or even 4-0 but still not getting over the hump yet but this team is headed up
9. South Alabama. Season heading south it seems the last couple weeks
10. ULM. So far they look like the bottom Belt team

Still so early, and with different amount of games played, makes this a complete guess! the gap between 1 and 6 or 7 is small. better show up to every game ready!

1a Cajuns. Without COVID I don’t think games would be close this year
1b Red Wolves Kansas State game gives a good feel for quality of team they are. Need to see more games
1c Mountaineers still a quality team and contender but do think there has been some fall off given third coach in 3 years
2a Chanticleers chadwell has them looking smooth but I don’t think the Kansas win tells us much. Definitely improving though year over year
2b Eagles think the team has promise but need to finish off drives and not get lulled to sleep. Like that we decided to go for it several times.
2c Trojans hardest to gauge blowout win and blow out loss. Think BYU is a very good team think
3 Panthers just need to see more games looked good the other week
4a Jaguars think they are making the turn with the program despite this weeks result
4b Bobcats same as above
4 Warhawks sorry guys

Cajun fans are sandbagging leading up to 10/7. Don’t blame at all but they have looked like the best team so far.

While I appreciate the respect given stAte I'm not sure I can feel it's justified at this point. With only 2 games there's not enough evidence to give anyone a fair and unbiased view. I feel the offense is very good but that D can still be suspect. And special teams are not.

ULM is just awful. We have atrocious OL play and terrible D. Hard to win with those issues.
