Money goes a long long way in these elections.
Most voters (the majority) are too lazy to really dig into candidates. They get bombarded with ads and it does affect them subliminally... They will lean towards whoever they remember the most far too often. If you are seeing JB 5 times to Trumps 1 time you are simply going to remember Joe's name more easily..... Marketing 101.
I do find it interesting that a guy like Bloomberg will drop 9 figures on this when that same $100M on its own could do a lot more good all by itself than the guy he is backing could do in 4 or 8 years.... Let's spend 100M to make 3M - Great use of money.....
