UT football recruit at centerville High. - Springboromark - 09-04-2020 10:33 PM

Went to the Springfield Centerville football game tonight won by Springfield 31-24 in OT. Got to see UT QB recruit Junior Chase Harrison, 6-3 205. Although don't have his stats tonight, I did observe his playing ability. Some have compare to him to be the next Braxton Miller, right now he has to go a long ways to be a Miller. Drop back passer who can run out of the pocket when chase and can throw a very good accurate pass for short to medium passes while on the run. He does posses good speed and can be elusive. Not afraid of lowering his head and picking up additional yardage. When being chase out of the pocket, has the where a taugh to find the open receiver. Did not observe the long pass down field in this game. Has good range up to 40 yards.

According to 247 sports , been offered by Louisville, Penn and UT. Other 5 power schools have looked at him but have not offer. Rivals had him as a 4 star QB, but 247 has him as a 3 star QB. Although offered by these schools, the interest level is cool. I don't understand the meaning, does that mean the schools have cool on him, or his interest in those schools have cool ? UC and Indiana next schools down the list but they have not offer.

Penn? Will he be able to manage the academics at UT? Kind of an odd threesome of offers.

QB Cade Rice - Springboromark - 09-11-2020 06:35 PM

QB cade Rice of Northmont HS here in the Miami Valley. Pro style QB, class of 2021, 6-3, 200 lbs. Is he drawing any interest from UT ? So far he has been offered by D1a schools only with interest from MSU, OSU, UC, but no offers.
