Ball St just got SEVEN commits for 2022! Tell me winning the MAC doesn't matter! Many MAC schools have 6 or more commits for 2022! CC needs to seriously step it up! We've ONE, and the young man had only ONE D1 offer us! This's CC make it break it season! Easy schedule! Year 8 and we still can't recruit with the top 5 MAC programs! Yes, This's hard, but the truth! Let's start winning recruiting battles! We offered some of these recruits as well!

Blah, blah, blah...

Lot of team have more than SEVEN. BSU has 11. NIU has 11. CMU has 10. But unless they are good recruits, I ask, "why?"

That said, BSU has only ONE who has a score, the QB Cade, who is a good one.

I would look to see who has the most 3-star recruits. Actually TOL has the most good recruits. They are #1 in my book.

As I posted here (or elsewhere) I would hold back a lot of scholarships for JUCOs, and transfers because of the changing nature of college recruiting.

Yes, Cade is a beast! I've friend who knows his father very well! Grew up with him! He said he didn't consider E Michigan because they've not won the MAC, or a bowl game under Creighton! Word for word.......Mike Neu the family loved his passion, energy, and vision! Plus, they just won the MAC last year! Glad we landed a 2nd recruit! We'll never be in the upper crust of MAC recruiting unless we win the MAC, and win a bowl game! This's the year for both period!

I actually watched the Cade's tape this week. I liked it.

That said, we are completely stocked at QB. I might be wrong, but we could be the deepest MAC team at QB.

Some folks really need to stick with the decaf. Right and then Creighton goes out after the recruiting rankings come out and everyone on this board who constantly complains and groans about his recruiting he signs a ton of P5 transfers or FCS all conference players and shuts them up until the next recruiting cycle.

I've added Shelley to the commit list.

I'd obviously like to see more guys committed but I am guilty of complaining about the same thing last year and CC ended up with around 15 three star guys and hands down the best transfers in we have ever seen. I think he is approaching the portal game the way he is approaching high school seniors by recruiting them hard. CC has to know that he has this year or the next to really make the next big jump and recruiting portal guys who can contribute this yr or next gives him the gas needs to make the jump from a .500 team to a bowl winning team.

Sidenote....I really wish there was more media and coverage of how CC is approaching the portal and recruiting. Seems like the only stories we get out of the program are in season when Steiner or Jewell feels like doing something.

EMU knows the state of Oklahoma. Many offers.

How many of those BSU and CMU guys are actually going to stick and not reopen recruitment when a P5 school comes sniffin? Fleck's classes always got raided by bigger schools. (Fleck was a great recruiter but he still had attrition)

Fleck was in a different league in recruiting in the MAC! How many NFL players? Plenty!

This quote from The Athletic says it well for CC and his staff:

"No matter how much turnover they have, coach (Chris) Crieghton’s coaches are always out and about (from Eastern Michigan). Central (Michigan) has a great staff right now that’s doing a great job shaking the bushes to find players."

This is part of an excellent article on recruiting in the state of MI. The Athletic does some really, really good reporting. 04-cheers

And yes we are in the post-P.J. (Fleck) era in the MAC.

C/E/WMU all now have very good football facilities. I think CMU's SAPC was completed last year. Correct?

I think the same can be said of Heath and staff and hoops recruiting. Both coaches seem to have hard working staffs.

Seems to have offers from good programs like Miami (O), Cincinnati, and Iowa State.

Looks like a nice recruit. 6'3" 220lbs. Might develop into TE at that size.

That was my thought was well. With a Pac 12 and Big 12 offer and interest from other P5 conference schools he's a great get! Rivals also has him as a 3-star and the number 21 player in the state of Illinois.

Looks good. Is this a scrimmage? When does MHSAA FB begin?
