I may be excited about this prospect for one season.

I may not.

Just depends.

Where did you hear this?

RE: Football TV schedule - Usajags - 08-25-2020 12:01 PM

Unless CUSA can get their TV schedule on an actual TV, I’m gonna miss the first game of the season.

How shortly?03-banghead

RE: Football TV schedule - DeanoAPP - 08-25-2020 12:49 PM

CUSA announced their deal:

- 9 games and championship game on CBS College Sports
- 3 games on Facebook
- 15 games on Stadium
- 10 games on NFL Network
- remainder of games on ESPN+

too many different locations to find each week in my opinion.

Lemme guess. ESPN is giving us all of the MAC's weeknight slots this season in exchange for us going back to the normal contract next year and extending it another 10 years.

Supposed to be today. Someone said noon but that turned out to be the All League teams

RE: Football TV schedule - EigenEagle - 08-25-2020 12:58 PM

I take this to mean more game moved to weekday. Hopefully they are at least ESPN2.

RE: Football TV schedule - Georgia_Power_Company - 08-25-2020 01:28 PM

It would be nice of ESPN would give us a little more $$ for moving games around if that is indeed what's happening. Maybe our commissioner could shed some light on it...

RE: Football TV schedule - Usajags - 08-25-2020 01:31 PM

Does ESPN content also fill ABC??? ESPN is going to need content for all their outlets on saturdays, including SEC and ACC networks. We’ve got to have some games on Saturdays to help fill those voids left by PAC12 and B1G.

Is that real?

Half of college football isn't playing, and that's what CUSA been given?

Wowwww...

We've still got to see what the Sun Belt gets, but I don't think it'll get worse than what CUSA has.

RE: Football TV schedule - asucrutch23 - 08-25-2020 02:13 PM

Surprised CUSA didn't get with the times and move all of their games to a Zoom meeting...

RE: Football TV schedule - chiefsfan - 08-25-2020 02:15 PM

ESPN requested we not release yet. Keep in mind there’s a lot of juggling here. Multiple TV networks are trying to buy games from ESPN, and the main network is looking at us to replace missing MAC inventory

Maybe another day or two.

But...but...but...we should be wanting to move UP so we get to play our games on Facebook Live like they do

So theoretically... if a team has 6 home games and 1 of them is already on a Wednesday, exactly how screwed am I as a fan trying to go to the games?

That would be huge. Imagine the number of Chinese spies watching in.

It’s one of those App astate mid past year situations. If things go right it’s going to be wonderful for you guys. Lose in the right situation and you’re still fine, but if you lose to the wrong team or if the wrong tv network wants your games than you end up 12-1 and playing a mediocre CUSA team in New Orleans. Or have 4 Wednesday games. One of the two
