The events in Minneapolis definitely tightened the race in Minnesota but its a pretty reliable blue state; and Joe Biden is a pretty traditional democratic candidate.

Its not that simple. (Besides 269 / 269 will still go to Trump.)
1. Biden has to has to hold on to states like MN, CO, NV, NM, NJ, NH and VA. All of those states are vulnerable.
2. Biden has to win back PA and MI, AND flip another state, while running the board on the above states.
Thats a lot of defending he has to do. Not easy when you are restricted to your basement.

I believe Hillary only won MN by 1.5% which shocked a lot of pundits.
I’m guessing there are quite a few people who voted for her in that state that have watched what has happened in Minneapolis and how the lunatic elected officials responded who may wonder if a Democrat is in their best personal interest this go around.
As far as MI, people are boiling mad at the dumpster fire of a Democrat governor we have. That is likely not going to help the Democrat ticket. I would not be surprised to see an African American Republican in John James win the senate seat in MI.
I agree that MI and PA are going to be ground zero for this election.

My wife's gmother went from going on trips at 93 to being in a nursing home not recognizing anyone at 94 and died less than a year later.

Colorado is not vulnerable. We've had a steady influx of young liberal hipsters over the past decade and we're firmly a blue state now, unfortunately. Like many states, the rural areas are firmly red but Denver voters overwhelm those votes.

you are indeed correct. I had Clinton as winning that district, but it did go to Trump; and right now the polls are split down the middle in ME2. Wisconsin might be the easier get for Biden.
