Football Tickets Availability by school - Unionman76 - 08-07-2020 01:08 PM

Memphis has come out with their plan for football

under a 6 ft rule, season ticket holders can attend the games
which would be about 20,000

under a 12 ft rule, only about 5,000 can go, so even with season
tickets, the school is only guaranteeing 1 game

the ticket holder could select 3 preferred games

our home schedule in conference is, ucf, houston, temple, usf
out of conference ark state and ut martin

what are the other schools saying,
would like to go to utsa, smu, tulane and cincinnati

For Tulane, at this point, our AD does not expect fans being allowed to attend home games. As this whole thing is an ever changing event, each game will be considered separately, with a plan announced 10 days prior to each game. Our mayor in New Orleans has been stricter than the governor regarding restrictions being imposed. It has paid off, as Orleans Parish has not been a virus hot spot since early on, while the rest of the state has stumbled.

It's possible that one of the reasons that USA and USM were made replacement games is that both are a short drive from N.O., and there may be a better chance for fan attendance there than for home games (assuming that tickets for visitors would be available.)

ECU is planning to move Marshall out of Week 0 supposedly to allow for fans. State will decide how many fans can attend. We probably won't know anything until the next phasing review in 5 weeks.

I think USA is only allowing 300 visitor tickets and the stadium is capped at 25% capacity. But to your point, that’s a better chance than 0%.

I bought Navy/Tulsa tickets on Stubhub.

Im not worried about getting refunded if they dont allow it. Im just worried that the tickets wont be honored more than anything.

How much Covid Derangement do they have in Annapolis? Are you even allowed to go to restaurants in MD?

Im glad I live in the south.

I saw the Commandant of Midshipmen and the Superintendent. Moght have been a couple other people who would normally be on the sidelines up in the stands - every team has an Officer Rep.

You guys get a discount on rent or are they still charging the full price without fan attendance?

I suspect that the rent for a game with no attendance is minimal. Thanks for your concern about our fiscal well being!

Jokes on you... our team has been practicing with only playing in half (quarter) filled stadiums for years!
