Most likely offered as a tight end with a future toward offensive tackle.
Waupaca is a small town near Green Bay, so he's likely flying under the radar, or at least he was until CMU offered.

I like tall ends. The QB can throw it up high in and let him jump for it. Most DBs are under 6' tall.
